Embarkation in Malaga was smooth and efficient we were dropped of at the Cruise Terminal at 1130 and were on board by 1150 and after Lunch in the Windjammer our Cabin was ready at 1300 prompt.

We booked an inside Cabin initially and upgraded to a GTY outside 3 weeks before departure however we were further upgraded to a superior balcony cabin on Deck 6 (Thank you RCI) The Cabin was well maintained, spacious and very comfortable. Just one negative comment, we have always experienced on past cruises that the rooms are service in a timely fashion each day however on this cruise it was sometimes passed 1130 before our room was cleaned, not really a big problem and could be due to staff cutbacks.

We dined every evening in the main dining room. Our Waiters Mario and Clifford from India were excellent and went well above our service expectations and the quality of food was excellent with plenty of choice, which is what we have come to expect on RCI. We were allocated a table for 6 and our dining guests were two Spanish Couple who spoke no English and although having VERY limited Spanish we had a fantastic time with them and our Spanish has certainly improved Breakfast and Lunches were taken in the Windjammer self service restaurant the food was good and varied however at peak times it was difficult to find a table. The staff worked very hard to clear tables promptly and seat people as quickly as possible
