New Orleans
Drove down the day before the cruise and stayed at the Double Tree. It was fine for one night, but the walls were thin. We made our obligatory trip to Cafe Du Monde for breakfast. We also went to the aquarium to kill some time before heading to the ship.
We arrived at the port by 12 and were on the ship by 12:45. The lines for parking, luggage drop off, checking in and photos all moved quickly. We went to Raffles for lunch. Afterwards we dropped off our carryon luggage and explored the ship. Muster drill was at 3:30.
Tight squeeze with four people. Only one pullman bed. The fourth person slept on a "cot" on the floor in between the two regular beds.
