We did the Med discovery and enjoyed every minute. The ship is old compared to some cruise lines but in our opinion it is the friendliest ship we have ever cruised on.
The cabins have everything you need, the entertainment is second to none. The food was exceptional. Piled weight on, but never mind.
Every crew member on that ship speaks when they pass you. The friendliness of the crew seems to rub off on the passengers and it doesn't take long before you make friends with other fellow passengers.
Met up with a few 'first time cruiseres' and they all remarked on what a friendly ship it is.
The ports of call were great. Really impressed with Corsica, and the one and half hour cruise down the estuary to Mahon in Minorca is out of this world. The captain announced that he recommended you to be up on deck whilst sailing down the estuary so nearly everyone was up and about. The scenary was beautiful and to top it all we docked right in the main street!!
We would definitley sail on the Isand Escape again, we love the ship.
