This was an Eastern Mediterranean, Holy Land and Egypt cruise in early Sept 2009. The Celebrity Equinox was virtualy a new ship. While there could have been some deficiencies in service etc. on such an early voyage, there was absolutely nothing to complain about. The ship was excellent, the staff and sevice outstanding as were the main shows, food and restaurants.

We went Concierge Class and the extra for this service and the slightly larger veranda was worthwhile. We did not use any speciality restaurants as the fixed dining in the main restaurant was more than adequate in terms of quality and quantity.

This was our 8th cruise, first with Celebrity, having been with 4 other companies, and it was the best cruise company and overall package we have had. My wife and I are in our early 60's
