Had a great trip for all involved. Our group of eight ranged in age from seven to eighty-five and the primary purpose was to celebrate college graduation of a 21 yo woman. She was nervous at first as she did not see many men her age on the ship unless they were on their honeymoon or with a significant other. By day two those thoughts were a thing of the past and we never saw her around the ship without a big smile on her face. Grandma enjoyed the people watching although we did have to make a trip to sick bay for a minor issue and they couldn't have been nicer to us.

The free style fit our group to a tee. Comfortable and relaxed is the way for us to travel. There were some items which needed some attention in our rooms, but the service was good and Bermuda was great. For everyone in our group except for DF and I it was their first cruise and they are already planning the next trip. SEAHOUND planned a Meet and Greet which NCL sent enough high ranking representation to think you were dignitaries or some other VIPs. The food at all locations was very good if not excellent. My only comments back to NCL was that the "special prep" areas need to be moved out of the buffet lines as they slow down the whole process while a customer gets pasta/omelette's/etc. made to order. The children's program is only second to Disney and NCL is closing that gap without the benefit of costumed characters. Nightly entertainment was very good again with a wonderful magician / memory expert mixed in with the commedian and usual musical talent. The song and dance troup were more talented than I expected and rivaled the groups we've seen on 'X' and RCCL. I was pleased to see the amount of activity after dark on NCL although I did expect more pool side games and events during the sea days.

The trip down to Bermuda they had grills and a kettle preparing some great food pool side, but the novelty of this experience was not repeated for the return home. As with all lines these days - Alcohol and Casino is where they make their money and they push them hard! Only negative for me was that the sauna in the spa was not open unless you purchased a spa pass/package. I have always enjoyed a daily visit to the sauna when I have been on other lines.
