Sail Date: Jun 2010

We sailed on the Dream on June 15th with great in trepidation having read all previous reviews, we had visited our local travel agent 4 days prior to sailing and were assured that the problems although acknowledged had been sorted, still hesitant we arrived at las Palmas pleased with the look of the exterior of the ship, embarkation was smooth and relatively quick and our luggage soon arrived at our cabin, the ship interior was gleaming there were no smells and our cabin was fine in need of some modernisation but we knew this was not a new ship.

The linen was clean (after previous reports of stained linen) and our cabin steward Airie was fantastic as were all the staff, we ate in the Orion most nights with two nights in the Grill (well worth it if only for the staffs entertainment (Hazel and Keith two of the best classical singers I have ever heard) The food was well p resented hot and very tasty!

The weather wasn't too kind to us and had a severe gale 11 overnight Captain Roy was marvellous he steered us right through without hiccups but we could not sail to Mahon but went to Barcelona instead which was great.
