After being on 5 great cruises, this cruise was simply not up to par and failed in so many areas that I could honestly not refer this cruise to anyone! For the price paid and long traveling, I was expecting an exciting cruise with a great atmosphere and wonderful food--neither were onboard. The most shocking thing to me was the tiny cabin, we were on the 9th floor with a balcony and were expecting room to move---once we added our suitcases, the balcony was the only open room we had! I have been on the 9th floor before and never had a room this small! The bed was terrible---it was difficult to get some sleep. There was this gloomy, huge frame (I wish I would have photographed it) right in front of our bed. Who would such a thing on a cruise ship!!

The food was disgusting---expecting fresh pineapple and fruits, they were all unripe and tasted terrible. The menus were always the same and the dishes lackluster. The fancier restaurants that you pay extra for were always booked and when we did get up there, the food was better but still not at all comparable to all the other cruises I went on.

There wasn't lots to do on the ship---NCL definitely did not compensate for the fact that there was not a casino on board--if we stayed on the ship, it was dull. The crew always looked miserable and we even walked into one of the main restaurants to find a crew member being scolded right in front of passengers.
