We booked our cruise 6 weeks before departure so got a great deal. As we were first time cruisers wasn't sure what to expect and certainly we weren't disappointed. Alot of regular cruisers we met said that this was one of the best ships they had been on so we picked well for our maiden voyage. If there are more first timers out their this review is for you, i'll try and pop in all the info that i wanted to know before we left but couldn't find on any past reviews.....

First of all no need to pack a towel for poolside/beach etc the ship provides ample amounts when needed 3-4 use what you need its great you just help yourself by the pool side and if you what one for going to beach on shore days look under your bed they provide 2 large beach towels you can take with you.

Second, book a drink package i prebooked the premium non alcohol we used loads on board, i drank my body weight in Evian , got as much canned fizzy drinks as i could stomach and the non alcoholic cocktails were great. Not to mention the amount of times i went to the on board coffee shop il bacio which was great for speciality coffees and tea which you could sit down and relax with or get take away for your cabin, these cost $5 +15% grat eash at least so 3 of these a day which i easily had covered cost of package. My husband got the alcohol package so he had unlimited beers, short etc plus all the non alco beveages i had just not the evian water but another brand, we reckon we saved a fortune!!!!!! Read more
