This was our 8th cruise, but our first Alaskan Cruise. We have cruised with Celebrity, RCCL, Carnival and now Princess.

Embarkation: Was quick and easy. We arrived around to the port 10-ish, and were on board eating lunch by 11:30 in the buffet. We brought wine onboard in our carry-on and had no problem. We met with the Maitre d' who changed our late seating to early seating, called the reservation line to make reservations for Chef Table, and signed up for the Ultimate Ship Tour.

Room D411: We had a mini suite and were very pleased with the size. The room had both our robes, egg crate mattress toppers and queen configuration as we had requested. There were two TV's, a couch, a tub, a safe and a nice size balcony. We slept every night with our balcony door open and loved hearing the sound of the crashing waves. We had plenty of closet space and shelves to fit all our clothes (though we did bring some extra hangers which we did need). Our cabin Stewart, John, did his job well. He always had a smile on his face when we saw him, what very few times we needed him, he always responded with a great attitude and our room was serviced twice a day, once in the morning and once at night. We made sure to fill out a comment card for him for his service.

Cabin Review

Cabin AA

great mini suite very close to the elevators, but we never heard a sound while in our room.
