This was our VERY first cruise, family of three, one toddler - older parents. I like luxury, husband and I both like to gamble. we picked Celebrity as we understood it to be more luxury, better food. We were really disappointed in the food. If you have never cruised, LOWER your expectations about food!

Dining; Buffet: the pasta bolognese is quite good as is the Sushi bar and stir fry stations. Breakfast is pretty darn good too. ALWAYS eat in the MDR on formal night - only chance for a good steak. Try the fish most nights in MDR, chicken was ALWAYS good. Desserts weren't worth the calories anywhere. Eat in MDR as often as you can, food was better there. Service was hit or miss. We were on anytime dining.

Enrichment - really enjoyed the acupuncture lecture, learned a lot. LOVELY young woman was acupunturist, can't recall her name...but just lovely AND informative. We were too new to cruising and didn't yet have our cruise game on so we missed a lot. READ the daily compass and GO to some stuff! You'll like it!

Cabin Review

Cabin SS

HUGE balcony, small bathroom even WITH a tub, it was just really crowded, only one person in it at a time, furniture was OLD, mattress was OLD, smelled moldy in the hallways, sewage smell in the bathroom. good location on the ship.
