Just returned from a fantastic cruise on the Freedom. The ship was immaculate and the service impeccable. The dEcor is very dark and we didn't particularly like it,I am glad our friends who have not cruised were not on this cruise with us, we like lighter colors but it did not brother us. Our cabin on the Empress deck 7351 had everything we needed. The storage was abundant. The shower seemed a bit larger than on the RCCl. Our room steward Berthia was great never in the way but kept everything neat and clean. Posh dinning was wonderful we had Jorge and his helper Rashad. With 6 of us they were busy the DGS's really liked them as well. Lido deck was good just normal buffet type food long lines but what can a person expect feeding that many people. The grandsons 14 and 12 liked circle C they met friends and we saw little of them but that is what a cruise is all about. Our excursions were ok disappointed in the Tequila factory tour all it was, was a tasting place did not show actual tequila being made. The Golden bean coffee plantation , was nice we felt they do not really produce vast amount of coffee since the machines were missing belts, had loose wires and cobwebs. The Portabello and Gutan locks tour was wonderful. All in all the trip was wonderful was great traveling with our DD, DSIL and two DGS.
