Ship Facts: Carnival Miracle Review (by Cruise Critic!) | Carnival Miracle Deck Plans
First time on a Carnival cruise
My husband and I are in our mid 50's and have cruised with NCL once, and RCCL five times. We decided to try a Carnival ship because of the itinerary and leaving out of NY.

We were in an obstructed view balcony which was just fine. We never had a balcony before and it was so nice to have when there are so many sea days. The lido deck did get crowded on sea days, but we always found a place to sit. Enjoyed the variety of food at the different stations. Always felt there was enough food available no matter what time it was.

Enjoyed eating at the early seating and found the selection and quality of the food was very good. Our servers, Zeffrey and Vergel were excellent and would bring us as much as we wanted and made sure everything was good.

I wanted to give some helpful hints that I would have appreciated knowing. Ship was chilly most of the time, so a sweater or sweatshirt is needed if you mind air conditioning. Because you use your credit card to open your safe, you cannot put your credit card in there for safe keeping. Bring a used gift card to swipe with so you can put your credit card in there. Could have used more hangers. Lockers ($7.00) can be rented on Grand Turk by using your sea and sail card.

Because my husband is allergic to smoke we had concerns about smoking that may have taken place in the cabins. This was not a problem at all.

Also found "support forum" questions to be very helpful.

We would not hesitate to sail on Carnival again.
