Having 'found' Celebrity some years ago, we are converts and our lates cruise on Equinoc did not disappoint - in fact we think this was the most amazing ship we have travelled on. My husband and I are both retired and look forward to being pampered by Celebrity's amazing staff. From embarkation, which is always seamlessly smooth, to being shown our lovely and comfortable cabin, we felt we were back among Celebrity 'friends who are trained to be surely the most attentive and caring staff afloat - Yes we have cruised with various other lines and although generally good, never in the same class as Celebrity. I was interested in a previous review where the contributor critised the coffee on offer. I, too, am a coffee addict and just know I won't like anything on offer. Couldn't wait to get offshore to get my 'fix'(Best one was a little unassuming cafe in Taormina!)One evening Alex, the handsome and charming Food and Beveridge manager was mingling around the tables in Sillouette restaurant with the head chef(who should be knighted in my opinion!) and after congratulating them on the wonderful presentation and standard of all food on board, I mentioned the coffee. Next evening I was presented with an after dinner coffee, specially made for me by the assistant maitre'd Sascha! Alex hd gone ashore in Kusadasi, bought turkish coffee beans and had Sascha specially preare my coffee!!! Now that is service above and beyond the call of any cruise line! No wonder we keep coming back to Celebrity. The ship was fabulous, the crew delightful as ever, the theatre shows were a very high standard and with a couple of notable exceptions the cruise directors staff were great. Beautiful ports of call- so get this itinerary booked on the fabulous ship. WE WILL BE BACK - and not just because of the coffee!!
