This was our third cruise. The other two had been on Royal Caribbean and in retrospect, we should have stayed with RC. Part of our disappointment were the ports of call and certainly the entertainment.

Ports of Call: The Caribbean is rather dull and the Turks and Caicos is basically a Carnival/Princess tourist trap since they built the port and the Margaritaville that charges $10 a drink! The beach was horrid--there was a small piece of sand littered with hundreds of lounge chairs right off the pier.

In St. Thomas, we arrived at 8am for a city shopping tour and Magens Bay beach. The shops don't open downtown until 9am so we wasted an hour of shopping standing around! Conveniently, no one mentioned that. Magens Bay beach was very pretty and I would recommend it.
