I have to say that I was a bit worried after reading many of the reviews here but we went in with an open mind and my husband and I had a blast. Just to give you an idea of where this review is coming from we are 26 yo yuppies without kids who have been on 3-4 previous cruises.
1.) Embarkation - a breeze. We were told to be there between 1:30 to 3:30 and showed up at 10:30 and were on the boat eating within an hour. We had stayed at the Radisson at the Port which was just okay (we had to move rooms due to a buzzing air conditioner and were given dirty wine glasses and plates from room service for dinner). We had rented a car from Budget for the drive from Orlando airport which was great and they have a free shuttle to the port that runs frequently and was much less crowed than the one from the Radisson.
2.) Room - we had an interior stateroom on the 8th floor. Small but adequate. Please take note they don't have body lotion and the hair dry smell like burning plastic when turned on. Our room steward was fantastic. We left him $10 on the first day and asked him to keep 2 wine glasses and fresh ice (as we brought our own pop and wine - which I would definitely recommend) and they were always there. Our room had other staterooms on all sides. Most nights we found it to be quite but 2 nights we had problems with teenagers running and yelling up and down the halls and noise from surrounding rooms.
