Just got back from an awesome cruise on the Carnival Fascination. We had 8 people in our group ranging from ages 5 to 61 and everyone had a wonderful time. I have learned after 3 cruises it is what you make it! You can be determined to have a good time or you can come aboard with doubt on your mind! It is up to you. If you dont check your funtimes paper everyday and join in on all that is going on..then you will probally be bored! We did everything we could possibly do in a day. Bean bag toss, scanvanger hunt, trivia, bingo, dance classes etc etc....! In our first port, Key West we rented an electric car (they took us to and from the ship for free) rode around, went shopping went to Zachary Taylor Fort beach) went swimming, ate at Sloppy Joes (not that good). All in All had a great time! Next port Nassau, Bahamas, rented a taxi (they drive insanely fast) went to local beach behind Atlantis resort! Rode jet skies, banaboats, rented chairs with umbrellas...cost for 2 chair's and umbrella was $30 but worth it..cost of banana boat $15 per person..jet ski per person for 30 minutes was $30.00 but was alot of fun! Oh I forgot to add in Key West it was $127.00 to rent the electric car from 7:30 am until 2:30p.m great price!! We went to Senor Frogs in Bahamas, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. It was Very exspensive around $30 per person..food was just ok...but if you have kids under 18 dont take them...can be rowdy and get x rated! Went to Straw Market, if your looking for a designer knock off handbag then you want to go here..you can get one for around 30 to 60 bucks!NEGOTIATE!! It was very crowded and hot in the straw market, and some of the people are not friendly! I never felt unsafe though..just use common sense! Back to the ship...If I had to list complaints this is the only ones I have: The food was just ok..wasnt bad...wasnt great!! We stayed in room r196 and our stateroom stewart did not do a very good job..but this was my 3rd cruise and the first time i had this problem. The Imaginatin dining room where we ate the lady taking drink orders got it wrong alot and was very slow. Other than that everything was AWESOME!
