My Husband and I cruised May 22-29th. All In all we have to say, For our first cruise together, we made the Right choice. Of course things cant be perfect and it wasn't, it was still a great experience.WE HAD LOTS OF FUN!! EMBARKATION: Was the most Fastest and Hassle free experience we had a very early flight, 6 o'clock flight, we were out the airport by 9ish.It was about a 35 min drive to the ship. we started to board the ship a little after 11am and not even 20 minutes we were on the LIDO deck. Drinking Pina Coladas and Eating burgers. CABIN: When we walked into our Spa cabin Room on the 11Th deck, we were very pleased and surprised to see how huge it was,we were facing the front of the Ship so we seen everything. We couldn't figure out our room door, why it was opening automatically and why there was a minute delay for closing automatically when we wanted to leave, which became annoying instantly, because we HAD to wait for it to close when we wanted to leave and because we were right by the Spa Entrance, Passengers were walking past looking into our room and wondering why we were standing on the outside staring into it, Its because we were waiting for the door to close! during the day we laid down for a nap and we seen people passing our deck room, very easy for them to see in our room, which my husband wasn't told that people would be able to pass our room and see in. We also got annoyed with the Noise of the Treadmill, the Gym was over our heads. We did call to make a complaint, Maria was very patient with us, they got back to us ASAP, found a balcony room for us, but it was way to small and too far away from everything on deck 7. we later found out our room was for a person with wheelchair needs, which we were never aware of that, so when booking, unless you can deal with the hassle of the door, ask what type of room you are getting, because we were never asked if we needed this accommodation. SHIP: the ship safety drill was very straight to the point and quick, was no hassle to get everyone together we didn't have to wear life jackets, just a short demonstration of the jackets and we were on our way. The ship did have a bad sewage smell now and then, you can smell it some parts of the ship, really quick and for us, sometimes in the bathroom. DINING: was a blast!! we didn't really want to sit with anyone else, our trip was our first and we wanted a more intimate setting, and we were able to change that without any issues, so each night we dined for 2, our waiters Dindo and Savvo, were incredible, they worked very hard, they were very pleasant and entertaining. Dinner was great, the food was in abundance and if there was something we were not enjoying, we were offered another selection, from Shrimps, fish(mahi mahi) steak, Chicken, Salad fruits, soup, duck etc...we were given a complimentary bottle of wine for our troubles of our room, which was a nice gesture. There were a few passengers who got sick & had to disembark earlier, the captain and staff kept us well informed &it didnt delay or alter our trip. ENTERTAINMENT: NO LACK THERE OF!! every where wer turned on the ship, there was an activity going on, from the lido deck, to the Lanai where there was a bbq, to the Caliente Club. there were art auctions, an instructor Teaching the Michael Jackson Thriller moves, Karaoke, Comedy shows at night, Other shows such as "Dancing in the Streets" we were so exhausted we couldnt stay for the whole show, but what wes seen as really nice. We Enjoyed a magic show, the magician was sooo hilarious and entertaining, we also say for a comedy show, Mark simmons (look him up) he was extremely funny. we also seen "Get ready" its a Mo town Tribute, it was a nice concept, one thing I would change is the lead singers, they were great, but it shouldve been more soulful singers. They were more of a broadway, cruise like singers singing to Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin. It didnt go. but over all the show was really nice.

POOL and DECk: We didnt go into the pool as much, for a couple of reasons, it was always crowded and because we went to the beach on the Islands we didnt need to go. But we did go on the last day, but we didnt stay for more than 2min. the water was very cold and it stunk they need to enforce the showering before swimming. The hot tubs were the same, so we didnt enjoy that.something needs to be done about the chair hoggers, People come early in the morning and put there towels on the chairs and go about their business all day long so when they come back their seats are still there, its unfair to those who want to sit and enjoy the sun as well, even though there is a rule of 40 min. a towel can be sittin on the chair alone, it is not enforced, it needs to be enforced!! SUGGESTIONS AND REQUESTS: I suggest that everyone go to the fearwell party, you will see what I mean when you get there. we would say we got out moneys worth for what we spent for our drinks the whole vacation at the Fearwell Party. So check it out!! i also suggest you book your Island Tours on the Island and not on the ship!! you save sooooo much money! and in NASSAU ask For MARVIN he was GREAT,in St.Thomas, look For GRANT when you get to town. he drives a red bus i do REQUEST that theres more carnival music, Soca calypso, reggae(not just Bob Marley)we're going to the Islands we should be greeted with a steel band on the ship. There shouldve been more West indian food, they had it for lunch one afternoon, Jerk chicken, plantain, Rice and Peas, Jamaicain Patties. IT WAS GREAT!! there shouldve been a section everyday where they had that. WE ARE GOING TO THE ISLANDS!!! we need the Island Experience, it is a Carnival Ship, thats what Carnival is all about, the food and the music.

DEBARKATION: We suggest that if you want to get off the ship early and no hassel to get your bags at the terminal, do self assist, my husband and I left our room at 6:35, and was off the ship and by the Shuttle bus at 7:15, we never stopped for a line, we kept it going! it was the most EASIEST AND HASSLE FREE DEBARKATION!

Cabin Review

Cabin spa

great view, we were in the front of the Ship, but it should be blocked off so people shouldnt be passing the rooms at certain times. The Gym's threadmill's were very annoying right above the room, u can def. hear them!!
