We traveled on board the Dream from May 22 to May 29, 2010. From the start go at Orlando airport, shuttle ride to Port Canaveral and signing in to embark the ship - was very efficient and fast.

We were on board the Dream by noon. Our room ready by 1:30 pm. We have a balcony on the 8th deck portside. Just beautiful. Very large room. Located at the front of the ship next to the bridge - so no hall traffic. Our room was kept so tidy every day, twice a day by Mandela. He also not only kept our room spotless and replenished but also was very helpful with questions we had each day and directing us to the right location.

As for any smells. Well I can honestly say that we only ever smelled anything odd when the ship was starting up the engines and leaving ports. Obviously, it wasn't a ship problem, it was the propellers stirring up sludge etc. in the ports. Only, and very faintly noticed it 3 times and again, only when leaving ports. Read more
