Full of excitement and ready to go, we landed in Ft. Lauderdale from Atlanta and within an hour or so were on board. The check in system was incredibly easy and the excitement just grew from there. The first staffers we saw in full dress uniform literally took my breath away!! Champaign and Mimosas as we walked on board started things off right. Our rooms were incredible, we stayed on deck 8 which to me was the perfect spot as the movement of the boat was slightly noticable, but far less than upper and lower decks. Mama had an outside stateroom while the sister and I stayed in an interior, which was more than comfortable enough for the two of us, and having no windows didn't bother us in the least. The total experience was incredible from start to finish!!

Our stateroom attendant Muriel was delightful as were the other staffers we encountered- as a very independant person with a huge background in hospitality, I couldn't so much as lift a finger for myself without a staff member taking whatever I wanted away from me. Walter (a supervisor on pool-side) was exceptional as were Charlotte the Foodie. The staff absolutely added to our experience!! The food was incredible every time (with the exception of the Lobster on Friday night) and we had special room service delivered twice with fresh fruit bowls that the dining room maitre'd arranged when he discovered we liked fruit at the close of our day. Ports of call were okay, ws disappointed with San Juan, but St. Thomas snorkeling w/ Island Girls was amazing and St. Maarten was perfect!! We rented an open air Jeep and cruised the island at our leisure. Overall, I will absolutely reccomend this cruise line and will not be trying another- I'm a lifer with Celebrity and am already planning a Western Carribean on the sister ship Equinox for December 2010... thanks to all who made this the perfect moment for my family!!
