I cruised with my wife, two kids (Daughter - 17; Son - 15), and my parents. Overall, it was a great cruise. The ship was in great condition. There were plenty of people on board, but it never seemed crowded. We had previously sailed on Glory, but Liberty was a notch above in shine. My parents have sailed 17 times, and they said it was their best cruise yet, with the possible exception of one trans-atlantic cruise with Princess.
Saturday's embarkation was easy. My parents are VIP status, and we were able to get to the front because of them. We were on board in about 20 minutes. They have installed kiosks for check-in, but an agent had to show us how to do everything, so I'm not sure how that improves anything. We went to the lido until cabins were ready at 1:30. All in all the first day was great.
We had an Ocenview room, and we all stayed together. The room was 220 sq ft and was very roomy compared to previous cabins we've had. My parents had the same room type and it seemed huge without the bunk beds. All in all, we were very pleased with the rooms and with the cabin steward.
