My wife and I just returned from a 4 night Bahamas cruise on the Norwegian Sky. This was our first Norwegian cruise and we were interested in how the "Freestyle" experience would be for us. We have cruised about six other times on other mainstream lines.

Embarkation went smoothly in Miami for us as we live about 20 miles from the Port. The lines moved fairly well. Once on board we were informed the staterooms would not be ready until 2pm, so as luck would have it, we only had to wait a few minutes before we had access to our cabin. Our stewards were Nancy and Richard, they were very friendly and took great care of us.

We ended up on the aft deck for the sail away for a bon voyage cocktail and enjoyed the music provided by Leo. The bartender and waitstaff were very accommodating. Read more
