This was our 3rd time on the Explorer out of Cape Liberty so we were pretty familiar on how things worked. My boyfriend and I got a ride to the port and arrived around noon, a little later that expected due to NJ traffic. But once we checked in...which went really quick...we were able to get right on the ship.

The ship is beautiful...noticed some new things since the last time we were on. We had an ocean-view cabin on deck 3, there was plenty of room for all of our things. The gym was nice, basic equipment. Spinning class was fun. For the most part we spent our time hanging out on the pool deck...we had no trouble finding a place to sit.

The food was great...ate in the MDR every night except one and the Windjammer for breakfast and lunch. Being a vegetarian I found the buffet selection to be more than accommodating.
