Sail Date: May 2010

Well I just returned from my first Celebrity cruise on Celebrity Summit. We did the May 16, 2010 7 day cruise to Newport, Boston, and Bermuda and the Caribbean. Inspired by Lois's thread I thought I would start my own review also.

Just to give you an idea of whom I am; my last cruise was last November on RCCL Explorer of the Seas to Bermuda and the Caribbean and the 3 prior cruises were all with Princess. I am not a cheerleader of any cruise line as I really enjoyed all 3.

I booked this cruise through one of the site sponsored Travel Agents, I am not sure I am allowed to mention names. I initially booked one of their guarantee balcony deals, as the cruise approached prices came down on the Concierge Class cabins and was shocked to see many aft balconies still available. I decided to upgrade myself to a Concierge Class aft Balcony. The cost wasn't much and it was totally worth it.
