However, we had a simply wonderful time. I can't for the life of me figure out what people complain about. The food was wonderful although I wasn't sure about what I was getting since there were so many fancy names. The melting cake was worth booking Carnival for any future cruises. We usually ate in the dining rooms and ate once at Scarlett's. The Filet Mignon was magnificent and so was the crabcake. The cheesecake was HUGE but not the New York Style that we can get back home.

My wife and I are in our mid 50's but really enjoyed the water slide. We also went to almost all of the shows and enjoyed them all. I especially enjoyed the 80's show since I knew most of the music and the juggler was a hoot. The magician was good as well and the Motown show also featured alot of songs I knew. We didn't go to most of the activities as we don't gamble or drink. We can't stand cigarette smoke so that would be another good reason to stay out of the casino. For most of the time the smoking wasn't a problem although the couple next to us would sit on the balcony and smoke which made it less exciting to sit on the balcony ourselves.

We figured out the layout pretty well although several times we ran into bulkheads and had to reroute to get to the dining hall or to get off the ship in port. But we didn't mind as we had to walk off all the food we ate! The rooms were nice and comfortable and roomy. The shower was great and the cabin steward, Joslyn, was wonderful. She remembered out names and did the little towel creatures including a monkey hanging from the ceiling which was hilarious.

Cabin Review

Cabin Bal

We were in cabin 8370. The balcony was great. The whole room was nice and we heard little noise during our trip. The shower was great as well. We would be thrilled to get a room like that again.
