We have sailed on several cruises through Carnival and this did not meet our expectations at all. Embarkation in Jacksonville was average. Once we got to the Lido deck the lines were long, which is to be expected, but not having somewhere to sit was a theme that continued the entire cruise. The lido deck was always packed with people and there wasn't nearly enough seating to accommodate everyone.

The dining room service was great for early seating, but the food was sub par. It tasted like cheap cafeteria food and you shouldn't leave a cruise ship and immediately look for a decent place to eat. The bar staff was pushy, constantly bugging you to buy drinks, even if you had one in your hand. The pool was closed the whole first day at sea. When you asked why, you were told it was due to high wind, but a couple staff let on that someone had defecated in the pool and they had to clean and chlorinate it. Ugh!

Half Moon Cay was gorgeous, as always. We went off on our own in Nassau and wound up having a fantastic day at Atlantis, which is well worth the money.
