We arrived at the Port at West Palm and to the contrary , we were moved through quite well and the earlier you get there the better off you will be.We didn't leave port for 3 or 4 hours and we had a great time on the party deck during that time. The entertainment personnel had something going on continuosly and the atmosphere was enjoyable. My suggestion would be to book the cruise less the timeshare deal. ( not worth it ) We did enjoy our stay in Kissimmee and our Hotel accomodations were nice. As far as the cruise goes, food was very good and the entertainment was excellent ( comedian Steve Zimmerman was very funny and interacted with the audience ) If you plan on spending most of your time in your cabin, don't bother going on a cruise or upgrade to a suite. We had a 4 star and it was very nice , but small and it wasn't a concern for us because we basically slept a few hrs there anyways. The ride to Freeport was very very smooth and you couldn't tell that you were on the ocean. We ported in Freeport , Bahamas the next morning and progressed through customs very easily and was bussed from there to OUR LUCAYA RESORT .We had a great bus driver who filled us in on the does and dont's and pointed out some sites along the way.Arriving at the resort was smooth and we were in our room approx in a 1/2 hour. We headed to the beach area and what a beautiful sight. It was so clean and tranquil there during our 3 day stay.We never experienced a drop of rain and the native Bahamian people were so polite , especially at the Prop Club where we ate quite a few times. If you want to do the excursions , you can negotiate the price , just don't jump when they come and ask you on the beach if you are interested. Tell them it is way over priced and later on that day or the next they will remember you and quote you a much better price. Remember, negotiate on everything when purchasing t-shirts or any memorbilia items. The prices at the stores for some items are very expensive, so pack smart.Make sure you walk the beach with your wife , girlfriend etc in the evening, it is beautiful.Leaving the resort was hard knowing we had to get back to reality. The cruise back was more fun because we knew the ship and crew better and didn't get to sleep until 3 hrs prior to porting in West Palm. when it was time to get our rental car , we handed the reciept to the same guy that took it 3 days earlier, and our car was curbside in less than 10 minutes.I would do it again even though it is a little smaller cruise line than your big 3, but if it is your 1st time and decide not to island hop, but would like to just do the cruise, or stay at the OUR LUCUYA RESORT, this may be what you are looking for. We met so many interesting people from different countries and backgrounds , these memories will last a lifetime. I will suggest, make sure your camera is in good working order, because we took 600 pictures. Please know also, that there are no "in room safes " so keep that in mind for valuables. We experienced no theft and did not hear of anyone else concerning this during the entire cruise. In a nutshell, we had a great time and will do it again for sure in a year or two.If you go into it with an attitude, STAY HOME...Those of us that were looking forward to having a great time "DID " and you will to..
