My wife and I had been looking to take a cruise around the Greek Isles and came across this itinerary and decided to book. This one was the choice as it was a round trip cruise and had plenty of interesting ports. This was important as the round trip reduced our airfare and none of the ports were too similar.

We arrived in Venice the day before we set sail in order to see the city. We loved Venice and decided to do more sight seeing the morning we left. Unfortunately we got carried away and arrived to the pier at 3:30 P.M. The cruise was scheduled to leave at 5:00 P.M. We were afraid that we would be too late. Embarkation was the easiest we have ever seen and we were on the ship to join the party by 4:00 P.M. We explored the ship and had a drink until the ship began to move. We rushed to our room to watch the sail through Venice from our balcony and to our amazement our luggage had already arrived. It looked like everyone else's had as well. Sailing through Venice was a great sight and was far superior to sailing out of Miami (We did this three weeks prior). After the ship had sailed out of Venice, we unpacked our clothes, with drawers to spare, and joined the other guests on the pool deck. Now for the actual cruise:

Dining: We ate at Cagney's the steakhouse the first night. We both got the Lobster Bisque for appetizers and the fillets for the entrees. Both were good. The Parmesan fries were awesome as was our waiter as he interacted with every table like he was talking to his best friend. We both left satisfied. Breakfast was eaten at both the buffet and the main dining rooms. No complaints from either. The omelet stations in the buffet were delicious as were the pastries. Lunch was eaten all over the ship. Buffet, dining rooms, pool deck, back of ship, etc... After eating at Cagney's the first night we wanted to try the Teppanyaki Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, everyone else wanted to try it as well. We could not get into that restaurant so we went to Magenta, one of the main dining rooms. Every course was excellent. After eating here the first night we decided that we would eat at the main dining rooms for the rest of the cruise because the food was excellent and the service was also top-notch. During the week we enjoyed everything that we ate. Examples: Mushroom risotto, pecan-crusted snapper, sirloin steak, beef wellington, prime rib. FYI - the Teppanyaki restaurant was always full so make your reservations as soon as possible.

Close to viewing area for the ship's control area. Great balcony, plenty of closet and drawer space. Very spacious
