We decided to take this cruise in celebration of my recent college graduation. The trip was 7 days, 6 nights. We took a group of 8 of us consisting of myself, my husband, and family/friends that are basically family (ages 30-75 and no kids). I could not wait to get on cruise critic and encourage everyone to sign up for this trip.
I had read several reviews on this site and noticed a few trends of the ship was unclean, the balconies were filthy, and the staff was rude. Not so for us. Our room was very spacious and the staff was constantly keeping it tidy (which is nice because we are fairly tidy people as well). We joked that it felt like our attendant was sitting on our doorframe to come in and clean when we would leave the room. I definitely recommend getting a balcony room for first time cruisers. It really helped control my husband's seasickness. The price isn't that much more either. And "obstructed view" or not, I could still see the sunset every night and the dolphins playing in the water from our balcony. The waitstaff in the dining room were AMAZING! We were traveling with someone in a wheelchair and they made sure to accommodate his every need. The food was fantastic and the sushi bar was even better! The bartenders were quick with the drinks too! I would be aware that there was one in particular at Sacthmo's bar who was the best gal there and her smile absolutely stole my husband's heart. The shows were okay, but I am not really one to see shows. Happy Cole was an awesome comedian so make sure to catch him on your next cruise. The ship had an awesome selection of group activities to do like line dancing, the galley tour, karoke, and the battle of sexes game. And, ofcourse, we met so many awesome people on the ship, some of which actually like nearby. Turns out karoke people are the best kind of people!
