This was our 4th cruise, but our 2nd 'long' cruise (more than a week). Our first long cruise was 10 years ago for our Honeymoon (Norwegian) and we both agreed it would be hard to top that experience. Well this, our 10th anniversary cruise, FAR and away exceeded any cruise experience we have had before.

We chose this cruise based on a combination of itinerary and the new Equinox ship. My wife and I stayed in the Aqua Class to enjoy the extra benefits and to eat in Blu. I am a meat and potatoes guy, but enjoyed Blu. The food was great, the atmosphere was nice, and the hostesses and wait staff was outstanding. It did have healthier fare, but still tasty. The only time I really noticed any difference in taste was on lobster night. You could tell it was prepared a bit differently than 'normal'. It was still good, just not dripping in butter like I am used to - probably why for the first time I did not gain any weight during a cruise! I highly recommend Blu and Aqua Class. Make sure to say Hi to the Hostesses and Jose, Carmen, and the fabulous staff - they will take care of you! Thanks for the 2nd helping of lobster Jose! We never went to the main dining room nor did we feel the need to go to any special restaurants.

We stayed in Room #1608 (on the hump) which was nice. A balcony a bit larger than others and tilted forward - nice little perk. 1606 balcony was a bit larger if you want some inside info, but we had plenty of room. The water and fruit provided daily was nice and the shower was great. My wife took the closet while I used my suitcase by sliding it from under the bed - worked well. Don't forget the storage in the cupboards above the beds. Ozy, our attendant, also removed the refrigerator items so we had room to store our water and other items.

Nice balcony facing forward - no noise issue - even though right below the pool area. No complaints
