Sail Date: May 2010
Cabin: Aft-View Extended Balcony

We are in the 40-50 age group. Had an aft balcony on deck four, which was perfect and one flight of stairs from the dining room. We spent a lot of time enjoying our room and the balcony. Our goal of this vacation was rest and relaxation vs. late nights in the disco.

Embarkation: Easiest embarkation in Tampa. Previously went out of Port Canaveral and Miami. From the curb to the waiting lounge ten minutes maximum. On board in less than forty minutes total.

Ship: First night leaving Tampa I felt some rocking motion but the seas were rough and others commented they felt the same. Never felt that motion again the rest of the week. Chose this itinerary because we have family in Tampa and we wanted a Spirit-Class ship. I've been on two Fantasy-class ships and one Conquest-class ship. The Spirit class is my absolute favorite. I love the space, the three separate pool areas, and the overall flow. The ship never felt like it was at full capacity. The aft pool is adults only and no children were present. There were so few children on board due to the time of year it wasn't an issue. (Most children on this cruise were between 3-7 years old.) We love well-behaved children and choose sailings when most are still in school.

Aft-View Extended Balcony

Cabin 8M

Quiet location, across from laundry room which is very convenient for a quick touch up with the iron, overhang on balcony for shade and privacy.
