Golden Princess September 19 - 26, 2004 Southern Caribbean Cruise

My overall impressions of the ship were wonderful. I'd cruised on the Grand before and basically knew what to expect. I was not disappointed in any way. The ship is really beautiful. Our cabin number was Lido 308. This was my first time in a balcony cabin. It was a wonderful experience. We slept every night with the door open and the sea rushing by. It was beautiful music to sleep by! Our cabin steward was a bit slow, we always had to ask for beach towels, but he still did a fine job.

The pre-cruise request for robes and fruit went unheeded. We did not really need the robes anyway, so we did not ask for them. I'm not sure our steward would have understood our request anyway. He did not understand English well. But again, that did not effect the quality of our vacation. Read more
