Hi, this was my second cruise on the fascination. The first one was before the water slide upgrade. Wow they did a wonderful job. I went with my mother and we shared a inside cabin on upper deck. Embarkation was easy as pie. However, if there is such thing as getting to the port too early, we did. They processed us, then we had to sit down until they called our section.Made it on ship around noon.Ate lunch on the lido deck.Food was good and plentiful. You have your choice of, hamburgers, hot dogs, pizza, sandwiches, stir-fry or buffet food.( baked fish, chicken, etc..)At 1:30 the Room was ready.I received chocolate covered strawberries and two photo coupons and a letter for free points and a free drink from the casino in my room upon arrival. It was a very nice touch. Room steward was great. He was a hard worker and kept room neat as a pin. Dining room was great. The matre D in the Sensation dining room was a Hoot. Whoo Hoo Woo Hoo.Food was good. I tried all kids of things. They used new plates and bowls, nice touch. I Like the new songs the wait staff sing.It was so funny. Weather was nice most of the cruise. Didn't get off ship in Half moon cay. ( Been there before ) If you have never been please make sure you bring plenty of sun screen. Or rent a clam shell as there are no covered areas there and it gets hot. I opted to lay out by the pool. I did enjoy staying on the ship as I got to use the Jacuzzi and relax. Brought a bottle of wine with me on board. Did not take it to dining room this time as I wasn't going to pay the corkage fee. I drank it in my room. Cigarettes on the ship are 5.00. They have carton specials but you can't get those until debarkation. Customs is very strict and only 1 carton per person. Period!. So If you smoke and have multiple people you can save some bucks. We had a late seating dinner. first time ever. But, we really liked our table mates so we stayed. They have this new thing called "your time dining". Didn't know about it but, maybe next time. There was a Piano Bar next to sensation dining room who has a new piano guy named Dana. He was Terrific! My name is Dana too, so it was a running joke. If you stop in, please tell him Dana from his first cruise says HELLOOO! The casino was hopping..(yes they have penny, nickel quarter, dollars slots)I did enter the slot tournament for $20.00. I didn't win but had fun trying. Nassau did not change a bit. If you have never been there you'll have a nice time. Taxi's are everywhere. You should be able to negotiate a fair price. Go to paradise Island for more upscale shopping. The casino is nice and big there too. Otherwise. stay near port and go to local shops and straw market. Can be a little pushy so be prepared. All in all, Cruising is what you make of it. I never have grand expectations therefore I am not disappointed. I self disembarked took no time at all. Will say customs was checking with drug sniffing dogs. I will go on this ship again.
