Sail Date: Apr 2010

This was my third time on Princess, having sailed on the Coral & Golden before, and over all my 12th cruise. Previously I have sailed on Royal, Celebrity, and Carnival. I must say this was one of the absoulte best embarkation processes I have ever done. From the time we got off the bus till we were in our stateroom was not mroe that 15 minutes and probably closer to 10.

The ship was in good shape for the most part, I did notice a few stains on the carpet near the midship elevators on deck 8 and a few other places and there was rust around the door frams in some of the public restrooms, but in general the ship was clean and in good repair.

We chose anytime dining and you have your choice of several different venues. Out of the 7 nights we ate in the diing room we had good service 3 nights and exceptional service 1 night. The other nights food was slow in coming and things were missed like my request for coffee, the cup arrived but no coffee. The food in general was very good and I had a variety of course staying with some of my favorites escargot, prime rib, and fettuccini alfredo. Portions for the most part were quite satisfying and served warm.
