I am going to try and make this as balanced as possible. As with any sort of review it is from a certain perspective. My partner Anna and I are 31 with no children, we both work full time and Anna has a food allergy which means she cannot eat wheat. We have cruised several times before on P&O and Carnival. This was our first cruise on Celebrity.

Things started well. The pre booked car parking was easy to find and we did not have to wait long to get our luggage taken on board, we parked up and walked straight to check in without having to queue, then through security and on to the ship, a free glass of sparkling wine was on offer too. As we boarded they made an announcement that cabins were ready so by 1pm we were in our cabin ready to go for lunch.

So lets look at food first, and let me say first some of the negatives should not put you off, there was nothing here that would ruin your holiday more things that irritated (me at least). The food in the buffet was very good, we never had to wait for a table and there was a large selection of food with lots of variety. Anna did find things she could eat although non of the food was label'd. The staff were helpful and had some allergy info about the food. Breakfast was served until 11.30am and had all the usual American options, lunch was until 2.30pm and dinner was from 6pm. Pizza, Pasta and Ice Cream is served all day and they bring various cakes out at about 4pm for snacks.
