This is the eleventh cruise we have taken but the first on Royal Caribbean. The Liberty of the Seas is a beautiful, very well maintained ship. The staff could not be any nicer. They are not only efficient they are very personable. Can not believe how they remember your name!!! We had any time dining and it worked out great. Never waited more than a couple of minutes. Most nights sat at the same table with the same staff. The food was the best we have had on any of the cruises we have been on. We have gone on Carnival, NCL and Princess but RCI beat them all. The sugar free desserts were superb! The room was a nice size, the balcony was great. When we were not in the mood for searching for a chair on deck the balcony was a great answer and so peaceful! The only complaints I have are not about RCI it is about fellow passengers. They can be so rude and distasteful. One guy actually took his bathing suit off during the belly flop contest in the pool. Kids were all around the pool, how inconsiderate and ignorant, drunk or not. And then there was the idiot from Boise in the Sphinx who got angry about his Karaoke performance, he thought the host was talking about him so he started to create a scene. The staff handled both of these situations quite well. Considering 4200 passengers, I guess you have to expect some fools. Labadee was a real surprise for me, much nicer than I expected but oh so HOT!!! My husband went on the zip line, said it was great, just goes by too quickly! Jamaica was great, we went tubing down the White River oh so peaceful and relaxing. We just visited some shops in Grand Cayman and Cozumel and went back on board. I could go on and on but in short RCI ROCKS!!!!
