Our second Carnival (cruise ever) in less than 6 months, and we are already planning our third! This time we sailed from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, much better than Miami. We arrived at around 1300 and were at the Lido by 1340. The embarkation process was fantastically fast, even after forgetting to do our FunPass registration! This time we used a cc instead of cash for our sail and sign, extremely stress free! We had an issue with my fiance's past membership status, which was fixed by guest serviced in less than 10 minutes!

Our cabin was conveniently located midship next to elevators, we did an oceanview again, no need to pay extra for upper deck rooms if we can sea the ocean through a window! Nothing new, except we had a properly working flat screen tv this time, nice! Our steward Michael was very friendly and polite!

Dining was very good in the Freedom, same menu as before, but it was nice to know what to order and what to stay away from. We were seated with a lovely middle aged couple, we had a wonderful time talking to them, their company was lovely. One thing I noticed was a lot of "single" tables, the fiance and I were so glad we were not seated alone, we definitely love to interact with others. One thing I will guarantee next time we cruise is to have dinner mates as we almost cut it close this time. Our waiters Sim"phop" and Lamberto were the best ( next to Manik and Marlon from the Valor), very nice and amazing dancers, lol.
