We did the Liberty of the Seas, our first cruise with Royal Caribbean. First off, the ship is really spectacular. It's clean, fun and tons to do to keep yourself occupied at days at sea. Everything from the dining room to the casino is beautiful. The food is really good, but maybe a little more dinner menu choices at the main dining hall. The casino is huge, and there is always an tournament going on. The clubs and lounges are great, with good music and service. The room we stayed in (interior stateroom) was a little cramped for 3 people, but it was never a problem. The FloRider and mini-golf was a blast. Overall, the best ship we've been on.

There were some problems, starting with some service. We had an issue with our dining room time, since there was no table on our SeaPass card. We were suppose to dine at 8:30, but when we got there, they told us we couldn't eat. We tried to talk to the man at the desk out front of the dining room, but he couldn't even look at us and pretty much ignored us. It took going to the manager to even get a table, which was a table made for 2 instead of 3 (they just added a chair). Wouldn't have been an issue if the table wasn't so small. They did recover quickly from it, so the positives outweighed the negative here.

Next, We were delayed in Cozumel due to high winds, so we disembarked about an hour late, around noon. We were doing the 6 and a half hour Mayan Ruins Express, and having to be back on the ship at 7:30 was going to push it a little close. Everything ran OK until we got to the ruins, and had only around 25 minutes to look at the ruins and shop there, due to being delayed. Then, our ferry was late by 35 minutes, so that knocked out our ability to shop back in Cozumel, which was supposed to be part of the excursion. When we got back on the ship, we tried to talk to the Explorations! asst. manager, but she just gave us a comment paper and didn't seem to really care. Then we found out they gave the 8 hour tour group time to eat, and they didn't show up until 9pm! We were really frustrated with that.
