Golden Princess Hawaii - 14 Nights April 11 - 25 Although we have been away for more days during our trips to Europe cruising & land pre & post tours, eight full days at sea were more than I hope to ever experience again. If the seas hadn't been as rough and the weather much better, namely warmer and sunnier, I think it would have made a major difference.

We flew on Virgin America from Boston to LAX two days prior to embarkation. Both departure and return flights were perfectly on time with fairly smooth skies. Virgin AM is new to Boston and us, so it was a nice experience. You do pay for your luggage and food but they have good technology onboard where you can watch movies on individual seat screens and order beverages and food by touch on the screen. NO cash is accepted and there is a remote scanner for credit card purchases at each seat.

We had pre-booked Super Shuttle on-line with the discount code for $14 per person. Service was efficient and with only one other stop before San Pedro. Our return was pre-booked with the private Execu-Car service (also through Super Shuttle) at $48 per car, but we were very disappointed in this service. It took 45 minutes for the town-car to finally arrive at the departure island for Super Shuttle. The Super Shuttle van, that filled up going to LAX as we were waiting on the curb, arrived just a minute after we finally did at LAX.
