First of all, I want to thank everyone who posted reviews of Liberty of the seas previously. All of your posts were very helpful!

Our cruise started on Sunday, April 18th out of Miami. I was raining that day and we were told that the cruise before us had rain every day of their cruise. Boy that would be a bummer, however our week long cruise could not have had better weather! Sunny each day and never felt the ship rock until the last night which was a windy evening. We arrived at the port around 11am and was on the ship by 12 Noon. As mentioned before, your room will not be ready until around 1 or 2pm so go ahead and explore the ship or go to Windjammer buffet on deck 11 or the Royal Promenade on deck 5 to eat.

The soft drink deal is really worth purchasing if you drink a lot of soft drinks, my wife had to drink diet coke due to her diabetes so paying $45 for the week was ok with her, I however only drink water but could not justify paying the $78 for bottled water, so I purchased a case in Miami and put a luggage tag on it and they delivered it to our room along with our luggage. BTW there was water stations all over the ship anyway so I did not go without.
