Being a new ship there were not many reviews we could find before we sailed and the few we did see were not very good. However let me reassure anyone booked on this ship that we had a good cruise. The Ship-very clean, well fitted, lovely theatre and restaurants. Cabin - good quality bed, a little tight for space when sofa bed is out, bathroom great and especially good shower! Food - buffet was ok especially good was salad bar but the rest was a little below the standard we have had on Celebrity cruises however the restaurant was good and you can go to the restaurant for breakfast and lunch too. My daughter had special dietary requirements and the waiters made a special effort to be helpful to her. Most evenings a five or 6 course meal with a good choice each night representing a different region in Italy. You get tea coffee juice etc.. at breakfast but from then on for lunch and dinner you have to purchase your own drinks.Coffee approx 2 euros soft drinks about 2.5 euros water 2 euros. Wine from 15 euros up but a good tip is in the back of the wine list is the vino locale in a carafe for only 7 euros! All drinks have 15% service charge added but there drinks packages available saving you a few euros. We bought a 14 soft drink, a 14 litre water bottle and 14 large beers ( only about half pint) at the beginning of the cruise and that cost us 123 euros. If you have lunch in the buffet hidden away at the doors is a water machine where you can free water. Staff -we found ALL staff to be very friendly , polite, professional and helpful. Activities - a wide range of activities inc.arts crafts, dancing lessons, exercise classes sports etc.. Theatre shows- we loved the shows and my daughters especially- dancing, spectacular costumes, magicians, very funny costume changing act, circus acrobat acts, singers etc.. all were very good and entertaining. My only complaints about this cruise is the ridiculous cost of using the Internet at 20 euros an hour and the Internet is incredibly slow like dial up.My second complaint is that smoking seems to be tolerated in many areas.I had read that it was restricted to certain lounges and on deck the left side of ship but Italians don't think rules apply to them and seem to smoke anywhere.Especially in the indoor pool where many children where which when the roof is on is an enclosed space - walking into it was like walking into a fog and we did not use that area because of that and it would actually make me think twice again about using an Italian cruise line. Overall we were very happy with the cruise , the staff were very good, our children were free and we especially enjoyed the itinerary of Venice, Greece, turkey (loved Istanbul) and Croatia and back to Venice.

Cabin Review

Cabin 11

good bathroom and lovely hot power shower.Bed large double , good quality comfortable bed. Not much storage when a family share a cabin but would be enough for a couple. Balcony small just enough room two chairs and small table. Was quiet I think the insulation between cabins is very good as we did not have any noise.convenient position near to lifts for buffet and restaurant.
