We are a family of 4, children are 16 and 17 years old. This is our 3rd cruise, 2nd time on AOS.

We arrived late Friday night in San Juan, stayed at the Intercontinental for 2 nights. This was a nice place to stay, great pool and right on the beach. We had heard the food was very expensive at the hotel so we opted to eat at other venues. Mi Casita across the street was a great place for breakfast, our family of 4 ate for under $30. We spent Saturday wondering around Old San Juan, and hanging out at the pool. There is a bus stop to take you to Old San Juan for 75 cents per person, but you need exact change, no bills.

On Sunday we left the hotel around 10:45am and arrived at the ship around ll:30. There was a ton of traffic getting to the pier and this took longer than normal. Once we were out of the taxi it only took another 15 minutes to board. We were at the ship pool by noon. Our luggage arrived at 2:30, and we were completely settled in by 3pm. We spent most of the day at the pool and exploring the ship.

Promenade Stateroom

Great view of promenade. Could hear some noise at night, but really only seemed loud on the last night.
