It was our second time on the Mariner of the Seas, and we traveled from Chicago to LA to enjoy it. We really love this ship and followed it rather than the itinerary. We actually liked the west coast crowd on this ship so thanks for your friendliness! We had a group of grandparents and a mom with with kids 10,15, and 17. We arrived on Saturday and took the Prime Time Shuttle to the Crowne Plaze in San Pedro. Great way to relax. If in San Pedro, eat at the Whale and Ale. Free shuttle to the port.

Embarkation: As easy as can be, especially if you have printed off the Set Sail Pass ahead of time. I think we got on in less than 10 minutes. We arrived at 11:30.

Accomodations: Amazing as we booked a suite this time. It was worth the extra money as we do spend time reading on the balcony, relaxing. If you're never in the room, don't spend the money.

Cabin Review

1628 Owner's Suite: amazing closet space, great bathroom, not great balcony.
