We traveled with a small group of several families. In all we were 13 with 6 teenagers ranging in age from 13 - 17 and 7 adults. For all but 2 of us this was our first cruise.

Embarkation: Arrived at Cape Liberty at 11:00 am. Some confusion from disembarking passengers but moved quickly through the check-in line. While waiting in the port we were entertained by a quartet band and balloon artist. This set the mood for the trip - fun and excitement. Around 12:15 our friends arrived and we boarded the bus for the ship. We were told our rooms would not be ready until 1:00 so we decided to head for the Windjammer and grab a bite for lunch (more on food below). After lunch we went to the room and changed to our bathing suits to enjoy a day at the pool.

Activities on Board: We enjoyed just about every activity on board. First of all, Richard Spacey, the cruise director, and his staff were fantastic. They certainly made our experience a hoot. We did everything from wine tasting to napkin folding to karaoke to buying a horse in the auction. Some of us were part of the Battle of the Sexes game others participated in pool games like volleyball and swimming relay races. Just a quick point of clarification, the Cruise staff team, the Titans, claim to be undefeated at pool volleyball but they are a bunch of cheaters as they lost a game on our cruise and still proclaimed victory. Keep your eye out for their antics - they are hilarious and get everyone fired up when they continually talk of being undefeated. They are great but beatable! We all participated in "The Quest". We laughed harder than we ever had in our lives over "The Quest" - all those tighty whites and flapping bras in one place would make anyone hysterical.
