We were on the Galveston sailing that got off to a late start on April 4. Weather issues are understandable. While RCI staff does seem to have a high level of service training, we would have felt better about the delay if we were kept informed about the delay. Instead, we were trapped in a serpentine line for three hours, watching check in agents meander around and trying to guess what was happening and when check in would resume. Rumors abounded about having to download data from the ship etc.

Shout outs to our cabin steward, Hospicio, who had a sixth sense about when the four of us were in/out of the cabin. The cabin was kept up beautifully at all times. We'd also like to see our assistant waiter Stevenson Joseph get promoted to full waiter next contract. He's ready. Charming presentation and excellent service. Cruise Director Mike was great.

Entertainment was better than expected -- guest performers were very high caliber. Enjoyed many hours at adult day care in the Pig and Whistle.

Cabin Review

Location somewhat awkward -- can only get to this room from far forward. Have to go up to at least 4th deck to cross to aft.
