Personal Background Information: We are a three generation family travelling with one teenager from the U.S.

Travel To Port of Embarkation: We embarked at Bari, Italy. Unfortunately, we flew Alitalia. The planes were cramped, dirty, late, and Alitalia does not provide customer service. Alitalia does not even answer its telephone when a passenger tries to make a lost baggage claim. Where, as here, we could not locate our luggage, we were forced to E-mail. In response to our E#-mail we were told to send Alitatlia the tags attached to our luggage, which of course was impossible since we had not received our luggage. Hotel Info (if any)

Embarkation: Bari Italy

Cabin Review

Tiny cabins, gaudily decorated in bright red and green with tacky artwork. If we had had our luggage, I don't know where we would have stored it. The ship vibrated badly at night making it difficult to sleep. One night we heard loud water rushing through the pipes all night long. There are no amenities in the cabin's bathroom such as hand lotion or creme rinse or even bar soap. The shower caps were never replaced. In every other ship we have had candy placed on our pillows at night, but not on the MSC Magnifica. The balcony was nice, and the size of the bathroom was larger than on river boats. The cabins were kept very clean.
