We just returned from 14 nights aboard the Westerdam. Other than the fact that the ship is huge........we found ourselves getting off the elevator and trying to figure out which direction to go, and because it was huge many of the bars and entertainment centers felt empty....our trip was AWESOME!!! This is our first cruise with Holland America and they certainly know how to take care of their passengers....so just a few comments that may help future passengers....

Our fellow passengers ranged from honeymooners to those in their 90's with walkers!.......there were a few children aboard, but we seldom saw them.

Embarkation and disembarkation was the smoothest we have ever encountered (have sailed with Princess, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean in the past). Read more
