Princess girl does Carnival....

We were invited to a 50th Anniversary celebration cruise on the Carnival Spirit 3/27 for 8 nights to the Mexican Riviera. Here are my thoughts.

We flew Southwest from Tampa to San Diego with a change in Houston. Both flights were late in take off and arrivals. Our Anniversary couple arranged for 80 of us to get a group rate at the Comfort Inn-Old Town. It was a hit or miss-some rooms were great and everything worked and others didn't but the rate was good and they provide shuttle service to/from the airport, seaport and local tourist attractions plus a decent breakfast. They couldn't be nicer-one driver even refused a tip!!!!!

Cabin Review

Handicapped cabin 6234 was noisy with minimal closet space. Ramp to the balcony would be difficult with a wheelchair. Shower area was great with a shower seat and both fixed and hand held shower heads.
