Just a few quick thoughts on our end of March Princess cruise. Overall Princess does a really good job. It's simply a matter of finding out if this cruise is a good fit for you. The ship: Quite nice. Perhaps some minor worn areas but not an issue for me and I'm pretty picky. A newer ship will give you more options etc. but I wouldn't say it's in bad shape. If you have kids the ship doesn't offer a lot of really fun stuff like ice rinks or climbing walls. Frankly, there's not a lot for them to do. Not as much sizzle as some newer ships but that might not be important for you.

Food: Restaurants were excellent and way beyond NCL's restaurants for quality and service. Beyond my expectations. Buffet was only ok and the space too small. It became jammed and actually had a 100' line at one point when it was the only breakfast option(after 9:00). That was beyond annoying.

Mini suite was fine. The staggered balconies are a mistake as I could hear every word from five levels up and they could see me but not the end of the world.
