We arrived at the embarkation point around 11:15 am and having VIP tickets got us through the process very quickly, we were onboard in about 20 mintues. The porters were quick and efficient, right there as soon as you get out of your car.

Once on board, we felt a little lost at first but we found the elevators and decided to try and drop our bags (carry-on) in our suite that we knew wasn't ready for us yet. Our cabin steward was very accomadating right away, we were able to put our bags away and that freed us up to make our way over to the Lido deck (where music was in full swing, as were the passengers) and before we knew it, we had our first drinks of the day!

Our room was wonderful. We were on the Verandah deck and we had a balcony (very small but still fine) and had a great view. Some of the balconies had lifeboats in front of them (obstructed view) but ours didn't and it was nice. The stateroom we had felt large with a comfortable bed and a couch. The bathroom was bigger than I thought it would be. Had a fridge which was nice since we took some sodas with us and there was room to put them in there. Plenty of closet and drawer space.
