This was our 15th cruise and just 2nd with Carnival. We love anytime dining and this now being available, as well as price and itinerary were the deciding factors in booking Carnival again.
I believe the "party" ship reputation has had a negative impact on Carnival, however, it is definitely the "Fun Ship". Entertainment awesome and varied. James the Cruise Director did a great job and there was something for everyone. Disco, karaoke, juggler, comedy club, Latin music, piano bar, reggae pool band, show band and fabulous production shows. There seemed to be music everywhere and really appreciated the music venues playing for longer periods of time than on other lines, especially in the early evening, pre and post dinner. Some days it was noon to 5 for the pool band and when the kids on spring break were dancing and asking for more played another 45 minutes one afternoon. I've seen people complain about the partying on ships but if you want a quieter crowd, don't go when it's spring break!
The Glory is kept very well-kept and clean. Have never experienced the outdoor movie theatre before and thought it would be a distraction when you're trying to relax on the deck but enjoyed the nature images that were played throughout the day. We wouldn't go to watch movies but several people seemed to really enjoy the opportunity.
Beautiful, convenient location. Lots of storage and great layout. Quiet location and were able to takes stairs to dining, buffet, pools, etc.
